Job description

What is the job?

Why not accelerate your career with a data and business apprenticeship at Unilever? Working in a diverse, global business, you’ll gain invaluable work experience helping world-class brands in areas such as Customer Development, Finance, Marketing and Supply Chain.

Working under the guidance of a dedicated line manager, you will gain the technical knowledge and skills you need to succeed through a combination of real, practical experience and formal training. You can expect on-the-job training, formal development opportunities and dedicated mentoring.

What could your day-to-day role look like?

This apprenticeship will help you build and improve a wide range of business skills, while also giving you a simple introduction to project management. Throughout the programme, you’ll learn the key knowledge, skills and behaviours that will help you succeed in the workplace.

In this role, you’ll work with others to collect and handle data, usually with support from a senior colleague or different teams across the business. Your main purpose is to help the business make strategic decisions by analysing different types of data, combining information from various sources, and sharing your findings in a way that makes sense to your audience. You’ll also learn how to work safely and responsibly with data by following legal and ethical guidelines. Day-to-day, you’ll interact with lots of people, including team members, managers, customers and both internal and external suppliers.

What support will you receive during your apprenticeship?

They’ll provide an environment in which you can thrive and will provide ongoing support throughout your apprenticeship. They will carefully construct bespoke goals for you to work towards. You can expect regular one-to-one meetings with your line manager where you’ll receive coaching and guidance.

  • You’ll have the opportunity to build a vast network of stakeholders from across the business who you’ll be able to learn from and will encourage you on your apprenticeship journey.
  • We offer a multitude of leading learning and development opportunities covering a huge array of topics delivered via in-person training courses and online portals.
